Culvers is a bit of a Wisconsin institution. Afterall, where else can you get breaded deep fried cheese instead fries with a burger meal? I've never had a bad meal at Culvers, although this was my first time at this store having come from the outlet mall. I had some massive double burger thing that was amazing. It's the little things - like taking the care to ensure that the burgers have irregular edges so that they go all nice and crispy. Not to mention the quality buns. Love it. This was a nice clean example of a Culvers and with the usual quality fair to boot.

Perhaps my worst Culver's experience to date, this location was disappointing in multiple ways. Biggest problems: -Cluttered, hard to navigate parking lot -Small, crowded area where you wait in line to place an order -No vegetarian options (almost all other Culver's carry veggie burgers) When I attempted to order a veggie burger, the cashier informed me they didn't carry them and didn't offer any alternatives or suggestions. If you're vegetarian, you should avoid this location. Despite the fact that we didn't have great customer service and had trouble navigating the small area, the place was SO BUSY. We went on a Saturday at 1pm, so I would avoid that time if you don't want to get a headache just from walking in the place. The food was decent, but was sloppily put together. Again, I would not visit this location unless you're really desperate for Culver's.

Culver's is just so darn tasty. I only get it once a year when I go back to Wisconsin, and I look forward to it the for the whole year. I got a single butterburger basket with cheese curds. They let you choose what you get on the burger (I shouldn't have gotten the ketchup and mustard, it was too much). The deep fried cheese curds are always good - not fair good, but great for the winter. It's a weird mix of fast food and table side service as they always bring you your food, as it's cooked to order. It's not as cheap as McDonalds but it's not expensive, either. A solid choice with a good variety of food! I do like their frozen custard, too, but never have any room left for it. Sad face!

DAMN YOU ADVERTISING. I saw a commercial last night on television about Culver's North Atlantic Cod sandwich. Suggestive. My wife and I were driving back from Madison and I saw a Culver's billboard. I wanted a fish sandwich. I ordered without cheese, hey FISH AND CHEESE don't belong anywhere near each other. had to "pull forward" in the drive thru and put a manly pink #40 tag on my window. This tag had been our lucky #27 and it wouldn't have made it back inside Culver's. I'm kidding. The fish sandwich was sadly just had delightful as the Old Spice wearing fisherman in the commercial made it out to be. SALTY, fishy, crispy, mayo-laden, lettuce, hot white bun, greasy. It was over $5. It beats McDonald's fish sandwich. It tasted like a gastropub fish sandwich. I probably got lettuce all over the car. It was dark. TRUE STORY: The word "commercial" is my most misspelled word. I spell it "commerical" almost every time - fuxxing dumb fingers.

Went through the drive thru and only ordered a Burger and Fries. Waited for at least 12 minutes and watched car after car after me get their food before I did. How does this happen?

Stopped here after coming back from the Badger's homecoming game with my nephew to grab something quick... It seems like all of Camp Randall had the same thought since it was packed in the drive-thru so ended up going in. The employees seemed a bit frazzled (understandably) with the huge rush. The atmosphere is a bit strange since there is the main part that looks like any other Culver's around and then they put on an edition that has an "up North" feel with wood paneling that really didn't flow with the rest of the place. The food was average but they did forget 2 items out of our order. I sent my 9 year old nephew up there to let them know and they gave him a free ice cream cone. If you are looking to grab a quick bite to eat - this is a little on the slower side, yet still has the standard Culver's menu. I would just continue back to wherever home is and grab something else.

I'm really not a crazy huge Culver's fan to begin with, as my custard needs are fulfilled by Leon's and Kopp's, and no one has a better butter burger than Solly's. And I'm now sorta the ass for promoting other places...sorry. Anyway, the menu is no different than any other Culver's, but they benefit from being able to thrive on the nearby outlets at Johnson Creek. Every time I've stopped in (three or four) they've been borderline busier than they seem comfortable with. Maybe it's just been bad timing, but I feel like it's the general sense of what chains deal with, and it's not so much for me. I need better travel partners, too. This is what happens when I don't do the driving...

The Culver's in Johnson Creek is like all the other Culver's I have gone to. I have yet to walk into one that doesn't look clean or have friendly service. This Culver's offers the same menu as every other Culver's. I always call this place a fast food restaurant but it is different in that your food is brought to your table after ordering at the counter. The menu has a lot of variety but Culver's is known for what they call their butter burgers. However, I think the real star of this place is their pork tenderloin sandwich. The pork tenderloin is huge and really could be two sandwiches. The fries are good but the cheese curds are even better. Culver's is also known for their custard and usually have some great sundaes and other flavor of the day combo's to meet your style. The custard is made daily. Culver's overall is a great place and this Culver's is no exception.

Delicious Carmel cashew sundae! The drive through service was great. They had the sundae made in less than 30 sec. This Culver's is a good stopping point about halfway between Madison and Milwaukee if you want to stop for a break. There are some good outlet malls at this exit on 94 as well.

This was the busiest Culver's of my life. The dining room was much bigger than the typical and every seat was taken. There were 10 cars in line at the drive thru. The service was really fast and the food was great. I have no idea how they do it!
